11/24 UPDATE: St. Margaret of York has decided to cancel all basketball games for the first weekend of the season (this includes home and away games). Coaches will receive a notification via the web site. We encourage coordinators to edit their own accounts and subscribe to game change notifications for their home gyms as well as their teams so that they can also be made aware of changes to the schedule such as these. As a reminder, parishes cancelling (postponing) games are responsible to try and work out a reschedule with their opponents if possible. Gym time is at a premium this year so it will not be possible more often than not.
In regards to away gyms, if a game cancellation is the first or last game of the day, or is in the middle of the day, the league will not be doing anything about that. If the game is the second of the day or second to last of the day, we will move the first or last game up or back to close the gap in the schedule. We will not be asking permission for these types of changes, everyone needs to be flexible this season and read their email to see the game change notifications to which all coaches have been subscribed. We will NOT be closing gaps in gym time under any circumstance when a cancellation is made within a few days of the game. It causes too much confusion.

Per the Health and Safety Guidelines for all GCCYS 2020-21 school season sports, each player can have a maximum of two adults attend their games this season (yes, coaches and assistant coaches count towards this total). However, there are some facilities that, due to their size, have different more stringent guidelines. Also, please note that when we say two adults, that means that nobody else can attend a game (no siblings, cousins, etc ...). It doesn't matter who the adults are with the player (can be grandparents, etc ...) but no children.
The following facilities will only allow ONE adult per player:
